Daylily Rust Survey

Welcome to the daylily rust survey website. Your participation in this survey will help us learn more about the garden pest and, we hope, contribute to finding a manageable solution for it.

I owe a big thank you to everyone who has helped this project along by contributing data. This isn't something one person can do. It takes all of us doing our little bit and combining our knowledge to get the job done. We're a lot smarter when we work together.

The survey exists in two parts. The first part is a garden survey to describe the location and cultural practices in your garden. You must submit this survey to continue, but the garden survey has been greatly simplified. All identifying information is optional if you wish to remain anonymous, and even if you do provide your name it will not be reported with your responses. A new survey will be required periodically, but can be completed more often if your situation changes significantly.

After completing the garden survey, you will have the opportunity to provide your observations on the rust susceptibility of various cultivars in your garden. If you have been treating rust in your garden, we ask that you only report highly susceptible cultivars, If you let rust progress naturally, then please report which cultivars were least susceptible as well as those most affected.

If you only wish to preview the survey before actually taking it, you may do so here:   Preview Garden Survey(long version)   Preview Cultivar Survey

If you are only interested in the survey results, those can be found here. I have expanded the list to include more cultivars.   View Survey Results
